Just a thought... Maybe the mask you get depends on your Profession, like the Wicked Hat depends on your Gender.

That would make no sense. There is no necromancer, ranger, monk, assassin, ritualist, paragon or dervish monsters. There are 3 warriors (Torment Claws and Chaos Wurms are technically warriors), 2 mesmers, 2 Elementalists

Someone needs to camp out late tonight to see what we do/do not get. So the rest of us can be prepared token wise.

This mask is pretty cool, I'd much rather have this one than the demon mask we get.

I mean it doesn't even cover up your face, not much of a mask. I think this has to be one of the only masks that looks bad and if it doesn't even dye it'll be even worse.

Well I'm prepared...bought another 4 stacks for each of my accounts...so 5 stacks for each account (10 stacks total). If there are multiple masks then I'll get my 5 favorites on each account...if no...well...I'll have plenty of firewater

Maybe different towns get different stuff again like Wintersday, I did see festival game npcs for dragon arena and rollerbeetle in Kamendan (sp). I wish Anet would post stuff like this, on Wintersday I was like damn I just got a different version of the Santa hat but then the next day I found out Kamendan got Freezie caps and I was like damn it. The gw site did'nt even say anything about it so I just went on, got santa then logged off.
Then again kamendan and lion's arch isn't decorated and this stuff is really just a Canthan holiday.

Neither do the Yule caps or Witches hats.

I like to be at the first finale for festivals. I've been able to attend the first Dragon Festival, second Wintersday, and New Years finales in the same district as Gaile. I might have also been there for the Halloween one, but I forget.

Those are hats and not masks. Masks cover your face.

Masks do not need to cover your entire face to be a mask.

Ok... I still don't like it, I'm entitled to my opinion whether it's a mask or a hat idc it still doesn't look that good IMO.

No, they did exactly what he said. Those are literally the heads chopped off of monsters, superimposed on NPCs, and called "masks". The Demon Mask isn't simply a chopped up Chaos scythe, they made some tailored adjustments to stylize.

Most notably, the Demon Mask is suitable for all types of faces and body sizes. I don't think they have made such adjustments to the other "masks".

I must say I'd have preferred the Grasp of Chaos one.... It looks much cooler than the actual one we received.

As the OP said, a choice would have been nice too!
